Everytime I remove Tomboy for Notification Area, it will appear again in a few minute. I even delete the Notification Area altogether and re-add but the problem persist. There is no entry in Sessions. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

If you do not use tomboy then you can just uninstall it. In a terminal type:

sudo apt-get remove tomboy

Right Click on Tomboy Icon, and at the bottom of the panel, select Quit. This will remove it.

Then Right Click on the panel and select "Add to Panel".Select Tomboy and select Add.You can now place it anywhere in the panel.

Good Luck
