for real player follow these instructions;http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Hardy#Installing_Real_Player_11_and_Configu ring_Mozilla_Plugin

for floola, put the Floola-linux folder anywhere you like, to start floola just click on the Floola file or make a launcher icon on you desktop. or even better, make a start menu entry for floola.

you will need to be "sudo" to install RealPlayer.
I'm guessing you have 2 .sh or .bin files one for Floola, one for Real.
At the command prompt type

#sudo hit enter and type in your password

#cd [folder real is located]enter

sudo ./InstallRealPlayer.binor whatever the .bin or .sh filename is. (easiest way is to type some of the file name and hit [TAB] to autcomplete.
Hit enter and follow the instructions on screen!

Floola doesn't get installed on your computer like most applications. It actually lives on your iPod, and needs to run from there to work properly.

1) Mount your iPod.

2) Drag the file "Floola" that was inside the Floola folder onto your iPod.

3) Navigate to your iPod, double click "Floola".

4) Give it a minute to read your iPod. The first time you use it it will ask you to confirm the correct model.

Enjoy, Floola is great for iPods.

Hope this helps.
