problem in installing Ubuntu on LG Xnote RD405

hi friends


I got the problem in installing ubuntu on the LG Xnote RD405
Its Configuration is :
120 GB HDD
896 MB RAM
Intel core 2 deo 1.60 GHZ processor



when I click on install ubuntu It Just Takes me to the command promt(which I don't Know to handle)
And when i START it IN LIVE MODE it JUST HANGS

hi guys has any one found any infio on this problem i get a BIOS 8254 Bug saying IO-APIC failed
Help me if you have had anyluck on this
