Installation problem and Live CD problem

Hello, I have a Samsung notebook Q70C and want to install Ubuntu.

I have tried to use Wubi to install but failed. After the reboot and load some commands, Ubuntu will go into command screen and I have no idea what to do next.

I also tried to boot the Ubuntu CD to test the live CD, it also failed and run into command screen.

Will this because of my notebook using ATi chipset? Can anyone help me?

Yes, I did try all the options but never success boot into Ubuntu.

Or are there any commands that I can manually type in to enter into GUI mode?

Seems my Q70C does not compatible with Ubuntu........

For my previous Acer notebook, it works fine for Ubuntu 7.10 direct install or through Wubi.
