Are the MSN servers down?

I've had no connection to MSN for over an hour now, whilst google talk and the web works fine. This is using pidgin.

EDIT: emesene also fails.

I've been using aMSN for the past 2 hours, and no down time. (except for when compiz crashed :P)

But, I'm in the US, so could be down over on your side of the pond.

msn has been REALLY spotty for me the past couple of weeks, some times, messages just drop and they dont get sent to the other person without either person being notified about it, i dont see people disconnect when they are actually are disconnected, and i have to restart pidgin to get things back to normal

MSN severs have changed.

emesene doesnt work with them any more :(

Pidgin works. So does aMSN.

Emesene are working to bring out a new version to sort this problem :)
