hello folks...

why does ubuntu doesn't recognize what card of nvidia i have???
doesn't ubuntu have driver for the latest cards yet???
i've a MSI N9800 GX2...
but the sys-report says it otherways...
the system doesn't know how much video-ram and
what the GPU Frequency is...

According to this (http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_173.14.05.html), your VGA card is supported, did you try looking in System>Administration>Hardware Drivers and seeing if you can install the Nvidia driver from there?
