Heres list of mine, sorted by how much they mean to me :

editor : vim
audio player : mpd, mpc
window manager : fluxbox
file manager : pcmanfm
video player : mplayer, vlc
terminal : gnome-terminal
web : firefox
chatting : pidgin

Also i would like to add that Python rules. Thus if you want to outsmart the Spanish Inquisition, learn Python.

what do you like? ( just don't post all the default ones that's boring )

i haven't tried x-chat it sound kind of primitive ( like xterm ). i'm gonna try it.

X-Chat is by far not a primitive IRC client, it is built on GTK and is in my opinion superior to any other IRC client (How often don't you hear that about some piece of software? :mrgreen:)

It's cool. But I don't often chat on IRC, i only use google talk ( via pidgin ).
