It becomes difficult to navigate without them. Fedora has them and they work wonderfully.

they just need to get rid of the menus and maybe just add a 'control panel' option? where you can see the options listed in groups, sorted by whatever they do.

i have to scroll to see all the options in 'administration' even on my widescreen laptop.

can and will. would be nice not to have to do this every time i install a new app though.
