I read in the dwww package info that synaptic apache swish++ doc-book xml-core dwww could be used for reading information about packages. As I find the regular info on packages very meager, I would like to use this option. I have it all installed, but how is this done?
"Read all on-line documentation with a WWW browser All installed on-line documentation will be served via a local HTTP server. When possible, dwww converts the documentation to HTML. You need to install both a CGI-capable HTTP server and a WWW browser to read the documentation."

Thank you! Seems a bit complicated for me, though.
