Hi there,
i was experimenting with linux since quiet some years but it never got me away from windows. since hardy convinced that its a way better system and i actually don't need windows anymore. my only problem is that the performance with my computer is way worse ...
for example web surfing is just so much better ... even with the same browser plus the restricted extras. i've also tried xfce wich works better for my pc but since i prefer gnome i switched back ...
is there anything i can do to increase the performance?
p.s. I've got a dell inspiron 1300 so all my hardware is supported and i don't strongly use compiz ...
