Hello! I am having a lot of trouble getting Compiz to work with my ATI card and Dual Monitors. I have two monitors set at 1440x900 and I want them to run side by side with Compiz.
After a lot of searching, I am aware a lot of people have been having trouble getting this video card to work with Compiz+Dual Displays. It seems the problem is always:
Comparing resolution (2880x900) to maximum 3D texture size (2048): Failed.
...presumably because the ATI drivers require more memory to run it. My question is: is it possible to set up some sort of virtual memory system so that compiz can work on dual monitors?
If there's another solution besides that I'd be happy to hear it as well.
