Rogers Internet users browsers now get hijacked by the new Rogers search page whenever something is typed wrong into the browser. So when I'm using Firefox and I want to visit a web page I just type in ubuntuforums for example... Firefox will automaticly redirect me to http://ubuntuforums.org. But because of Rogers, I am now greeted to this page.

According to Rogers all I have to do to switch this back to normal is to switch my DNS. The only problem is that I have no Idea how to do this in Linux and I don't know a DNS I should switch to. Help Please?:(

If i'm not mistaken you can change your DNS by going to System> Administration> Network then click the 'Unlock' key and enter your password. After that you can select the Tab marked DNS. What to change it to is beyond me. Mine is set to my Router's IP address.

If this impacts you please PM me. I have a case open the office of the president from Rogers, but they say it is "low impact"

I just need this:
email address
VPN software used

that's all... it will take you less than 45 seconds... please do it... I need as many names and addresses as possible to show them that it is NOT low impact
