Hi guys. When I try to install Hardy, I get an "I/O Error: Error reading boot cd." This happens no matter what option I pick on the menu...

I have an asus drw-2014l1t, if that helps...

Google turns up nothing. And everything works under Windows.

Sounds like you might have a bad cd. Try burning it at a slower speed, like 4x. Then when you boot from the CD, run Check CD option.

If that doesn't work, try to download Ubuntu again, your download may have gotten corrupted.

I burned both an amd64 and i386 version at a slow speed, and it still does it... maybe I'll re-download. Unless there's an easy way to check the checksum in windows. I'm not familliar with how to do it.

There are various checksum utilities out there for Windows, but I'm not familar with any of them, sorry.

Awesome. I followed that, and downloaded an entirely new image. The checksums worked out. When I put the CD back into the computer, windows tells me that it's an 'invalid cd'...

Have you tried rebooting from that cd and seeing if it boots. If it does, run "Check CD" and see what that says.
