I did run into that commercial on YouTube about a couple weeks ago. I think they did a very good job with it.

Well, the intel video was old (still good). But the touoch screen looked really cool (despite the fact that I hate touch screens).

That IBM commercial is a thing of beauty.

I didn't really get into the touchscreen video. It looked like he was having a hard time hitting the corner buttons. The solution to that? Make em finger-sized. Also, at about 1:30 he screws up and curses, which is always hilarious.

Until you convince me that a touchscreen wouldn't be annoying for first-person-shooters (either there's no skill involved, or your hand covers up what you're shooting at,) I'm not interested. Also, what would you do about the fingerprints?

Until you convince me that a touchscreen wouldn't be annoying for first-person-shooters (either there's no skill involved, or your hand covers up what you're shooting at,) I'm not interested. Also, what would you do about the fingerprints?

Clean them off?

I'm not opposed to touch screens. I think for most practical purposes they may be more efficient than a mouse, but there will still be some things a mouse is better for.

They're less efficient because you only have one button and you have to hold your arm out in front of you and wave it around. That's a good way to get a sore arm. Whereas a mouse requires almost no physical effort, is more precise, and has more buttons.
