my computer is as follows:-

AMD Sempron 2600
MSI km3m Motherboard
1.5G ram
NVIDEA 7300 512 mb video card
40 GB HDD with Ubuntu 8.04
400 GB hdd with xp pro

I was wondering if I could partition the 400GB hdd and run a third OS or would this cause trouble with the computer maybe in the bios?

I was thinking of partitioning the 400GB hdd and running UserOS Extreme 8.04 which is Ubuntu with a lot of changes to the basic Ubuntu 8.04.But I have read where I can virtualize it on top of Windows useing vmware Player,VMS2 and Wubi.

There shouldn't be any problems to the PC or the BIOS at all, you may just face a few problems with GRUB if it's improperly configured or overwritten, but that can be fixed quite easily using the SuperGRUB disc (http://forjamari.linex.org/frs/download.php/987/super_grub_disk_0.9726.iso). By the way, what three OSes are you planning to run?

Unless you have another suggestion (not to difficult)
