Installation Ubuntu Studio on Acer notebook

Hello,
I want install Ubuntu Studio on my Acer Extensa 2902LMi. I use the alternate dvd from the website. When I start the installation the display is black and nothing happen. Only the CD-Drive run, but I don't see anything. All the solution I find are for old ubuntu version.

A Ubuntu Live CD starts on my notebook and I can use it.

Can somebody help me.

Hi and if you can use the live cd then use it to install. The alternate cd maybe corrupt download or burn.

the problem was my laptop display. i use for the installation an other display and it runs. now i can use ubuntu studio on my laptop.
