That my friend it did!!! One of my all time favourites although not a big Denzil fan. The music haunts me.

It's called The End or Creasy Dies for the movie. Vocals were by Lisa Gerrard (http://www.lisagerrard.com/) and the score was by Harry Gregson-Williams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Gregson-Williams)

I had to go look that up and then I thought you were joking but you are 100% correct.
She makes up her own language that she apparently used as a child to speak to God.
