How do I turn on select-copy

Hi

I use Kubuntu, and somehow managed to turn off the preferred way to copy of select-copy paste with the mouse.

I have now resorted to using ctrl-c ctrl-v but would like to get back to slect-copy paste.

Any ideas on how to turn this feature back on?
