Hi!
I was wondering, which terminal command is evoked by pressing <CTRL>+<ALT>+<D>.
Using Xubuntu 8.04 with Xfce
Hope you guys could help!

None My dear
you have <ctrl>+<alt>+<backspace> killing X
<ctrl>+<alt>+<del> brings out the shutdown menu
however you can assign it to a command if you want try system>preferences>keyboard short cuts

hm....
if i press <ctrl>+<alt>+<d>, it toggles between the desktop and currently opened windows. pretty much what <windows-Button>+<D> does in Winxp.
I asked this question, because I would like to be able to toggle between windows and desktop just like in WinXP, using xbindkeys under Xubuntu (XFCE).

You can use ctrl alt right arrow and left to change between desktops. you can switch users log in in gnome again and switch using ctrl alt f7 & f9. There are a lot more tricks too if you use compiz...

OK!
Just found another workaround...
In Windowmanager's settings, theres a tab for keyboard shortcuts. I just changes the shortcut "show desktop" from <ctrl>+<alt>+<d> to <Super>+<D>, which is exactly what I my intention was without writing a script or using another program!
That's very easy!
