Hello All, I Just installed Ubuntu 8.4 LTS. I am having a weird problem logging in. I had this problem while testing live CD too.
When I Put my user Credentials and hit Enter the Welcome music plays but I get returned to login page. When this happens I can't even switch to console mode. Thing is I am able to login in "Gnome failsafe" session. Looks like something to do with startup scripts.Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I would appreciate any help in this regard.
