My computer is a HP Pavilion Slimline AMD 64 running Vista with a 500 gig drive shrink partitioned.
After pressing Enter to install the keyboard no longer works, keyboard isn't usb. :( Wah!
It has HP Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard Solution??? I'm trying to install Ubuntu on a separate partition so I don't think the Vista/Hewlett-Packard system could be the problem?
Can someone please help me figure this out.

if it's a usb keyboard, unplug it & then plug it back in. if that doesn't get it & you're using a front port, try connecting to a back port. front usb ports can be a bit flaky sometimes cuz they're not hardwired to the mobo.

I had a similar problem with my logitech G15 I actually dug out an old ps2 keyboard just to get through the install. I'm able to us it with no problems post install.
