Found a script that is design to enhance the 2d performance on nvidia 8xxx and 9xxx.

The problem is that I\m having a hard time figure out where to put the command.

I know that I need to put it in /etc/init.d

But how do I do this in a step by step instruction?

This is the script I want to use:
nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=2 -a GlyphCache=1

that's not a script!
it's just a program with some parameters on!
just open a terminal and type it....

btw, I don't know the effects of running this....
