My browser freezes up everytime I try to view that picture.Right click the link in the original post, save it and view it with something else.

Edit: I don't think it's actually a satellite photo, it's taken from much closer otherwise you wouldn't see the sides of the adjacent buildings.

That picture is 14MB! It would take me at least 45 minutes to download.

WOW. Thanx for that. I kinda collect info, pics and videos form that day.

I was working in DC that day and saw the plane hit the Pentagon. Saw the smoke also. It was crazy. We had a guy right outside its gate. All phone traffic locked up.

Got it to work.

What are those crosshairs on the edges?

Probably for alignment with other photos.

What are those things in the water, top right corner?

That is an amazing photo. 9372x9372 is high res (14Mb), is there a smaller image? Think of people with 56k.

What are those things in the water, top right corner? Not sure but it looks odd.

I friend of mine made a page from it using a program to split up the image, then a .swf file to allow you to pan/zoom around it like google maps.
His bandwidth is limited, so he doesn't want me to post it here. :(

If anyone here has enough bandwidth, I can ask him for the app (he offered) and they can host it.

Any takers?
