The Nautilis preferences doesn't have a file associations tab, where do I go to change a file's default opening app?

first open nautilus

second right click on file icon and select 'Open with Other Application..'

third click whichever program you want to use or type in a custom command

then it should open that application by default i think... correct me if i'm wrong

Right-Click a file
Click Properties
Click Open With Tab
