How Do I install a program that I got off the internet?

I just downloaded Real Player from http://www.real.com/linux. How do I use the file to install the program onto the computer? It's name is "RealPlayer11GOLD.bin".

I think you just run the bin file

In a terminal, go into the directory you downloaded it to and type


sudo ./RealPlayer11GOLD.bin
