phone responder

Does anyone know of a package or project that allows you to create a phone system like you get when you call your bank to get your account info. Like "press 1 to get your balance?" I want to create a program to respond to the button presses so that it can control my home automation systems.

Asterisk (http://www.asterisk.org/features) and it's installable from Synaptic Package Manager. Haven't tried it but heard it's pretty good. Total overkill but it'll work.
