I have Compaq Presario 5003 Desktop that I'd like to use as a server here at home. Hardware wise up to spec (even added a new 80gb HD), all that is missing is something as basic as a screen and keyboard. Is there an easy way for me to remote install Ubuntu on that box? I could off course always take the HD out and install it via a docket on a different machine. But I thought I'd check in with the party peeps of this forum, maybe I don't need to wait? I have an Ubuntu'd Laptop (8.04). Is there a way for me to connect these two machines and have the desktop act as a slave to my laptop during installation?

guess that looks right, but I would still need a keyboard and screen to be able to set the desktop to boot via the network card.
