Glipper - I upgraded 7.10 to 8.04. glipper isn't on the Accessories menu and a re-install did not fix.

Add to Panel.. - It now looks like the one in old copies of Gnome on old Fedora or old RedHat 3 with just a single list?

What gives?

And where is that cool custom menu that looks like the nice one in SuSE that used to be available? I thought Ubuntu would have started including that by now as it is far cooler than the current menu organizers.

sudo apt-get install --reinstall gnome-panel gnome-applets

For the menu, you can use USP: http://code.google.com/p/ubuntu-system-panel/wiki/Installation

Thanks, I tried but get the same old style panel.

On the menu, wow, that looks cool! I can't wait for it to become generally available in the repository.
