Check out the Acer monitors on newegg. I have a 19" one and it is great for the price. I've had it for a year and it has been flawless. Great color, viewing angle, and response time. I think I will pick up the 22" one soon.

The only issue I see with those are im unsure of the warranty, plus I have my cousin helping me pick it up (still waiting for the check, its kind of driving me nuts)

I would go for LG if you are on a budget.
