People for Taiwan, help me choose a laptop! :)

I could buy a laptop from Taiwan and I want to know what brands and/or specific models are good to buy from there.

I want a full-blown laptop that costs $800 or less that has a 12.1" or smaller screen. I want something that runs perfectly well with Ubuntu, of course. :KS
