I already know all the commands to mount a dmg image file in Ubuntu, see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=125526&highlight=mount+dmg+file
for my post on the commands. But, my question is, how can a create a Nautilus script in order to run these commands every time a select a dmg file?

I actually solved the problem by creating a nautilus script of my own that enables any distribution of Linux to mount a Mac OS X .dmg file (but not install it, since that would require the Mac OS X APIs which are closed source). Feel free to download it and use it at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dmgmount. See the installation notes at the sourceforge page and the README which comes with the tar.gz package for complete install instructions. Remember, it is under the GNU Public License.

You can also download the software at: http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Environment/Tools/DMG-Automounter-39815.shtml

Please reply to this post with your comments and how my software worked (or did not work for you). Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

I am a firm believer in the OpenSource movement, and I write only OpenSource software to help support not only the GNU community but also the world at large. So, if you have enjoyed this software (and/or would like to see it improved further) and other OpenSource softwares, please do not hesitate to donate, because your donation not only helps the administrator of this project, but the SourceForge.net community as well! Furthermore, any monetary donations will be used to not only support the growth and development of this software, but the growth and development of other softwares as well because 5% of the donation money will go to Sourceforge.net so that it can continue to serve and host Opensource projects (which, I believe will become more popular than other proprietary softwares).

Hi Guys,
I wrote a nautilus shell script which allows any Debian/Ubuntu user to mount a Mac OS X .dmg image file. I talk more about it in my post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=856335&highlight=DMG+Automounter+Linux, and you can download it from either http://sourceforge.net/projects/dmgmount or http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Environment/Tools/DMG-Automounter-39815.shtml.
