i installed ubuntu using wubi, then tranferred it into a saperate partition using lvmp.
i hav 4 partition

2 NTFS, 1 FAT32, 4th is an extended one with 2GB of linus swap and EXT3. so, when i transfer files from ubuntu to the fat32 partition, the comp becomes really really slow. how to make the transffer faster? thanks!

btw, i'm using the thinkpad x61.

Instead of using nautilus's copy and paste feature, try to use cp terminal command instead.

cp is much faster than nautilus when transferring/copying files.
