View Full Version : [ubuntu] Booting from Live Disc

I can't install!
My computer wont boot the disc,
but its set to read the disc drives first, and is fine with every other bootable disc.
i got my disc from the Ubuntu site itself.
What shall i do?

HELP!

(id like to partition from drive to seperate windows and linux on one drive)

1, did you downloaded the image from the official site?
2 how did you burnt it ? did you burnt it as an image file or just added it as a file and burnt it?
it should be burnt as an image file give more info for help............

well actually i got the disc, i didnt burn at all. I didnt do any burn mistakes are anything, but i do know the discs worked on my old PC. So its really confused me. Im quite the enthusiast when it comes to this, but this one has lost me.
