How do you like my avatar?

I wanted to try out GIMP and I made this my first time. It's kinda random, but I'm dual-booting Ubuntu and Vista. Now I think I should've gone with Vubuntu because it goes with the Ubuntu stuff. D'oh! Yeah GIMP is pretty close to as good as Photoshop, as I have it on Vista. What did you do the first time you tried out GIMP?

What did you do the first time you tried out GIMP?


Said 'bugger it' and went back to Photoshop, because I was in a hurry.

I'm getting the hang of Gimp, though. And now that I've wiped my Windows partition, I don't have a choice!

I have Photoshop, but GIMP is easier to use imo.

Ubuntu doesn't have any problems for me ecxept for my wireless card. Mine is apparenlty one of the hardest to set up. Any help would be appreciated (see link in sig).
