HELP!!! Cant see Anything!!!

I just recently install ubuntu 7.10 on my PS3.
the installation went well.
I followed some giudes how to change the resoultion. however I picked the wrong resolution and every time I boot up Ubuntu I only hear the sounds. The screen is totaly black.

Is there any way to reset the resolution or anything to fix this problem? Please help!!

at the Kboot prompt I typed "install video=ps3fb:mode:33" and it gave an error message.

I'm not familiar with running ubuntu on the PS3 at all. I'm just reading off the community docs. I can't offer you much more help.

But if that's the proper settings for your t.v., I'd have to venture a guess, and say there's something else wrong with your install.

What was the error message?
