I've got a bunch of unused function keys on my keyboard, and I was wondering if there's a program available for linux that not only would allow me to launch programs with macros, but also act as a task switcher. For instance, the first time I hit F13, it launches firefox. I then switch to pidgin in another workspace. When I hit F13 again, it will switch workspaces and bring Firefox into the focus instead of creating a new instance of firefox in the same workspace as pidgin. If you use OS X, I basically want the same thing as Quicksilver. I've tried setting it up with Keyboard Shortcuts in gnome, but it creates a new instance instead of making that app active.
