I upgraded ubuntu to the latest distribution a couple of days ago, but yesterday for the first time I turned on my laptop when not connected to the internet.
The system tries for several minutes to connect somewhere and does nothing else (I tried to do "esc" and C-c but nothing worked). I had to wait several minutes until I boot finnaly whent trough, then I went Ctr-Alt-F1 to run some code but I was always getting a line saying trying to connect, port 6 not available so on and so forth.
This is very annoying! Can someone shed some light in this?
