I'm very glad to see a special forum set up for Ubuntu Women. I, too, am part of a minority group here: I'm a 54-year-old male Ubuntu Linux user. As you may have noticed, there are a good many forum users who are very young. "Not that there's anything wrong with that," as Seinfeld would say, but sometimes I find it hard to keep up and I definitely don't always get their sense of humour. To top it off, I'm also a non-techie (I'm a writer, as you can tell from my screen name). But, for the most part, they're a good and helpful group.
I'll watch your forum and, if there's any time that I feel I have something to offer that would be of value to your group, I'll certainly chip in. I'm a noob to both Ubuntu and to Linux and I think I have a well-grounded perspective when it comes to dealing with and solving problems.
Anyway, welcome!
Stephen
