Hello there, Ubuntu Community,
I'm a newbie Linux user and I've just installed Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron using the "wubi" from my existing Windows XP system (which is in my C: drive). I have chosen to install Ubuntu in D: drive with 8GB allocated for it. Everthing went well until the Ubuntu desktop came up with a crash screen. Although I can see the desktop's still working -- and of course I even set IP settings by guessing the button texts and browsed the Internet using Firefox except that I can't see things clearly -- I cannot work with it because everything on the screen is crash. I use the builtin graphic from the mainboard which model is MSI P4M900M2; I think the graphic is VIA P4M900 chipset.
Can anyone help me with my problem, please?
