My monitor's tinted Green! Help?

Okay, Here's the story.

I turned off my monitor for a while today to keep my room cooler and to save power as I wasn't using my computer.

I turned it on a couple hours ago, and now everything has a greenish bluish tint to it, and it's bugging me!

Can anyone help me? :confused:

yes, i would make sure the cable is securley connected and if it is then i would replace the cable. is it an lcd or crt monitor?

I had a crt monitor that did that. It was because the red thingy in it was dead. If that's the case, the only thing you can do it get a new one.

wow. What a d'oh! moment.

i didn't screw in the cable because i had been switching the moniter between computers last week, and i moved the computer back towards the wall a bit, and i guess that it moved. well, in my glorifying moment of stupidity. Thank you!
