I think this would be a great way of getting Windows users who have had a pirated version of windows to switch and not deal with the microsoft help desk.

Never really noticed that there were that many but, a user gave this idea instead of AWAG. I have been there with the pirated version of windows and so have some of my colleagues.

Well it has been years now sinces it has been installed on my PC, but I guess I could do it again if I wanted.

Thanks for the explanation.

Personally I couldn't care less whether people use pirated MS products, I'm not an MS shareholder.

"Pirated versions" are not only illegal, but could contain viruses, backdoors, keyloggers and password stealers. So if a person is dumb enough to use a hacked/cracked version, I'll bet they are also dumb enough to do their financial information, banking, and purchasing online with the cracked/hacked OS too.

I guess it is pirating to borrow a friends CD and use a fake CDkey as well.
