View Full Version : [ubuntu] Minimizing FireFox logging me out of desktop

This problem has been going on for two days or so now.

After I have FireFox open for a bit, longer then like 30min, if I then go to minimize it, the screen goes black, shows some text for a second (that looks like when you alt+F1 to get that console view) and then it brings me back to the Ubuntu login screen.

Also usually afterwards the computer runs slow and is very choppy. A system restart seems to be fixing that problem.

I am using hardy, and I am using FireFox 3. I'm not using that many plug-ins for firefox. The only ones I can think of are a weather one, ad-blocker, and two that help make FireFox's interface smaller, like the tabs aren't as tall, cause the computer I use it on can't go to higher resolutions.

Any help or insight as to why I'm having this problem would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't seem that minimizing anything else is also causing this problem.
