Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for a USB digital tv tuner that works a charm under ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron and doesn't require a lot of set up and doesn't have odd little quirks like the USB tuner needing to be unplugged prior to shutdown or the need to be kept warm under small fires made from crushed lady beetle shells (ignore that last quirk).

I figured I'd be best off asking people who actually know what their talking. I'm done with asking the people at the store.

Any help anyone could provide with regard to names and approximate costs of usb digital TV tuners that match this description would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Copperdore.

Ah, blissful doofus ignorance.

Check out the MythTV or Mythbuntu websites, which have a list of TV tuner cards of every flavour that work in Linux.
