I'm still a newbie. Would someone tell me how to make my dell d630 wi-fi work properly?

Does anyone know how to solve the wi-fi problem on my Dell D630 laptop. I really need to work in a wireless environment or I can just give up ubuntu and go back to vista. So any ubuntuer help me?:)
