Hey, First of all, glad to meet someone from my own country. Well, I have written an article about this in my blog. You can find it here (http://sanjrockzz.blogspot.com). Don't worry, you can do it your own by following the steps I have mentioned there. I'm a newbie for Ubuntu too and I was able to configure my modem after googling for few hours, so you can do it better than me cos' you have all the information needed in one place. Just download the UbuDSL driver from SourceForge and follow the steps. If you have any difficulties, don't hesitate to contact me. Enjoy Ubuntu!!!

Getting your ZTE up and running is a possible thanks to the people working at UbuDSL project.

You can download that package from www.UbuDSL.com. Notes on how to get it set up are available in www.linux-sri-lanka.blogspot.com (http://www.linux-sri-lanka.blogspot.com)

Good luck with Ubuntu and the OpenSouce.
