View Full Version : [ubuntu] ghost partitions

I have been moving/resizing my partitions, on my 100gig drive, it all worked very well for my storage and system partitions, except now Gparted reports two additional "ghost" partitions as /dev/cloop 0 (7.36) GiB and /dev/cloop 1 (3.31)GiB.

I did read something about how partimage loses some space during it's operations but not how to recover that space.

how do i recover the wasted 10.6 GiB?

hope it opens for you, i am on knoppix while playing with my partitions,, if it does not open , i can save it to my ubuntu files and post it when i am done partitioning.
