Can anyone recommend a good print manager? It does not need to be complex.

I work at a school and want to discourage students from over-printing by charging a small amount per page. Each student has his own login.

I've searched google and the forums and couldn't find anything, I might be using the wrong terminology though.

Thanks

pykota. I've not used it but it looks useful.

Thank you. At first glance it looks like it has way more than I need, but also seems to be the only viable option....thanks for the direction!

You could use /var/log/cups to base writing a script on.

that might be way over my capabilities. I've written basic, straightforward scripts for pretty easy stuff. I wouldn't even know where to begin...i'm not even sure what I want to do =)
