Hey again. My friend found this old Panasonic CF-47, and it has a Pentium II (around 300 MHz) and somewhere around 128-200 megs of RAM.

Whenever we've tried to install Xubuntu, we get a error something like:

"[201.66687] <error text>"

Also the BIOS is from 1999 and it says we need a version of 2000 or higher to enable ACPI.

Got any ideas?

"[201.66687] <error text>"What is the error text?
Are you using the live cd or the alternate cd?

I'm pretty sure it was the live CD. I can't check the error text now. The notebook belongs to my friend and hes not here right now.

I downloaded it via xubuntu-8.04-desktop-i386.iso.torrent so I don't know if that affected the ISO/CD Data or not.
