Komplett.co.uk seems to have closed it's doors to UK customers.

These guys were great, anyone know what happened?!

The dutch komplett branch has recently expanded. And yes, I really like their service. OTOH, in some cases they are relatively expensive. At least they are still reachable.

They bit the dust a few weeks ago. The last few weeks have been spent trying to consolidate the group into a new business. My understanding is that creditors in the EU called on a line of credit they had, forcing them into this move.

from what ive heard they were drawing back to focus on markets where they have a stronger stand and more profitability, eg, scandinavia. Although i cant confirm this.

According to this snippet on tweakers (Dutch technology site):
http://pro.tweakers.net/nieuws/54181/komplett-sluit-diverse-europese-webwinkels.html

the Dutch, Belgian and Scandinavian webshops remain in business. It also says komplett will focus more on the Dutch and Irish markets.

Yeah, it is true. They are going to continue focus on the countries where they have a strong position. In Norway for example (where I live) they are extremely popular and are almost allways my number 1. choice for a webshop. Allthough they are quite expensive at times, their customer service is great.
