Ubuntu will have both simple-ccsm and compizconfig-settings-manager, but only show simple-ccsm in the menu, and the other, more advanced effects editor will be available through the simple-ccsm

By the way, you spelled "Profile" wrong. Haha, but other than that, looks good, but it's not exactly Ubuntu's job (rather, Compiz to make such a tool).

actually all i did was add the "advanced..." button, the rest is the actual program screenshot

if you want compiz advance manager installed by default, then that won't happen

I just wish Compiz was as smooth as Beryl used to be.

Like in Compiz with stretching windows, it has lots of straight lines, like 6 , making up the 'curve.' In Beryl i always had perfectly smooth curves.

can't that be adjusted with the advance manager ?
